West Brom 0-0 Swansea
Wigan 0-0 Everton
QPR 1-0 Wolves (Zamora 16’)
Stoke 0-0 Sunderland
Norwich 0-0 Bolton
Thing’s had better pick up in the second half or save for the Arsenal game, it’s gonna be a boring Match of the Day tonight. >.<
WHAT A DAY for Everton!!! Just WOW! They’re the only club that actually walked away with someone GOOD in the January transfer window and they also managed to beat the league leaders. Great day for the club’s fans. :)
Ok I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit upset. Cause you know I am. I do want City to win the league after all and this is a set back. but I’d rather we were beaten by a mid table club than a Title rival (annoying) or a relegation candidate. (embarrasing)
Anyway Everton need this win. If there’s one club I don’t wanna see relegated it’s Everton. Just for some strange reason I’m quite fond of them. And of course endless respect for David Moyes, brilliant manager. ;-)
But now we’re level on points with Man United. Blergh!!! >:-(
Spurs 3-1 Wigan
Wolves 0-3 Liverpool
Swans 1-1 Chelsea
United 2-0 Stoke
Well Birmingham won the Carling Cup so not only do they have a trophy to their name but they’re also in Europa League next year, who’s to say they won’t go far? ;-)
And Blackpool have had an amazing season, they’ve enchanted and delighted us all with their attractive attacking football play. Ian Holloway is funnier than some comedians! And DJ Campbells golden teeth have been one of the things that gave me a happy shock this season!
You can’t have it all I’m afraid, and sometimes clubs that don’t deserve to be relegated have to make way for other clubs that rise through the Championship to have their chance.
I’m not so gutted as I was when I first found out. And looking at it from the perspective of the teams that survived, Wolves and Wigan pulled off one heck of a stunt to drag themselves out of relegation on the last day after being in it for most of the season. Very happy for their managers Roberto Martinez and Mick McCarthy, well done!
Anyway chin up to Birmingham City and Blackpool, next season is another oppertunity to get promoted and achieve new things!
The Championship Rocks! Who want’s to play in the Premier League anyway?
Wigan, Wolves, Blackpool, Birmingham or Blackburn?
West Ham already got relegated. The letters W and B seem to be cursed in the Premier League. *_*
And that Liverpool beat Aston Villa to clinch that Europa League spot?
If just those 2 things happen it will be the PERFECT season. Everything I could’ve hoped for would’ve happened.
I wish no clubs had to get relegated. :(
