Thank you and goodbye David Moyes.

It has now been officially announced that David Moyes will take over from Sir Alex Ferguson as manager of Manchester United.  Moyes who became Everton manager in March 2002 has brought stability back to the club and we wont forget what he has done for the club. Moyes will continue as Everton manager until the end of the season.

Best of luck in your next challenge Moyes.

If only this were a world where the amount of effort you put in matters much more then the results that you get, then Everton Football Club would surely be admired by every football fan out there.

I’m always astounded when I think of the amazing job David Moyes is doing at Everton on such a limited budget. I have absolute respect for the guy. ;-)

EVERTON 1-0 MAN CITY

WHAT A DAY for Everton!!! Just WOW! They’re the only club that actually walked away with someone GOOD in the January transfer window and they also managed to beat the league leaders. Great day for the club’s fans. :)

……

Ok I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit upset. Cause you know I am. I do want City to win the league after all and this is a set back. but I’d rather we were beaten by a mid table club than a Title rival (annoying) or a relegation candidate. (embarrasing)

Anyway Everton need this win. If there’s one club I don’t wanna see relegated it’s Everton. Just for some strange reason I’m quite fond of them. And of course endless respect for David Moyes, brilliant manager. ;-)

But now we’re level on points with Man United. Blergh!!! >:-(

Other scorelines:

Spurs 3-1 Wigan

Wolves 0-3 Liverpool

Swans 1-1 Chelsea

United 2-0 Stoke

Looks like absolutely NOTHING is gonna happen this transfer deadline day.

All the clubs learned their lessons from what happened this time last year.

The £50 mill flop.

The £35 mill flop.

The only shocking thing that happened this transfer deadline day is that Everton actually have a penny to spend. Congratulations David Moyes. ;-)
