Day 05 - A Player Who You Respect And Admire The Most
Stiliyan Petrov
This amazing Bulgarian footballer began his successful career at CSKA Sofia where he helped the team to win the Bulgarian Championship in 1997. Only at the age of 18 he signed for Celtic and became one of their most…

Chelsea 6-1 QPR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fernando Torres hat-trick!!!
Reasons why this is a great day (for me):
Now then,
*bites nails for tomorrow’s Manchester derby*
Pictures from Shay at St. James’s Park. Game ended Newcastle 2-1 Aston Villa (Ba 30, Cissé 71; Keane 45+5), which wasn’t nice for Shay and Villa but the most important thing: speedy recovery for Ryan Taylor!

James and Oliver Phelps who play Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter movies. James supports Birmingham City while Oliver supports Aston Villa.
YES!!! FINALLY!!!
We can get rid of his overrated ass, stop paying his huge wages and quite frankly get somebody in who can actually score goals.
Alex McLeish, I hope you’re making a decent shopping list cause I do not wanna see Villa go down this year!
And at the moment the other match looks like this:
Chelsea 3 - 0 Kitchee
*prays Torres doesn’t score*
So it looks like the final will be Aston Villa vs Chelsea. Can’t wait! ^^
And that Liverpool beat Aston Villa to clinch that Europa League spot?
If just those 2 things happen it will be the PERFECT season. Everything I could’ve hoped for would’ve happened.
I wish no clubs had to get relegated. :(
Aston Villa send William and Kate their best wishes.
(In case you didn’t know Prince William is an Aston Villa fan.)
Some scorelines from last weekend.
West Bromwich Albion 2 - 1 Aston Villa
WBA scored an own goal, got a red card in the first 45 minutes, and still managed to win the game!!!
Birmingham City 1 - 1 Wolves
Birmingham got a red card in the 29th minute and played over 60 minutes with 10 men without conceding! They even had a beautiful free kick hit the crossbar that could have won them the game!
And from a while back:
Arsenal 4 - 4 Newcastle
Look at that scoreline. Look at it. Conceding 2 goals in nothing! If Newcastle could do it, so can Real Madrid!
AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN IN FOOTBALL! BELIEVE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Ben Foster was Manchester United’s penalty shoot-out hero when he helped the Reds beat Tottenham to win the Carling Cup in 2009. Yesterday the new Birmingham’s goalkeeper was once again outstanding as he picked up the Man of the Match gong for the second time in three years for a string of…
______________________________________
So according to the things Ben Foster said about the time he used to play for Manchester United,
Sir Alex Ferguson is a brutal slave driver!!! And Manchester United is a place where fun has no meaning!!!
Of course that’s just one players opinion, but seriously? Man United not even celebrating winning the Carling Cup? Why? Was it below them? Was it too small a victory?
These big clubs,
I wonder if they know how many other clubs they trample on in their quest for glory. How many people’s dreams they crush on their way to reaching the top?
How many tireless days did the Aston Villa players train to for the Carling Cup final back in 2009, just for Man United to come and win it when it wasn’t even all that important to them. How much more would that trophy have been appreciated by Aston Villa and their fans?
When I think about it like that, I’m nearly always backing the underdogs.
Anyway!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Ben Foster for his amazing performance for Birmingham City that won them the Carling Cup 2011. And of course , unlike his time at United, at Brum City that trophy is like winning the World Cup, it means a lot. I’m sure he got to make up for lost celebrations 2 years earlier by celebrating “Monday, Wednesday….Tuesday!” and probably the rest of the week aswell! XD
